Adult Class: Cooking with Cider

What you'll do

Just in time for apple harvest season, Chef Jim Comishen takes you on a culinary journey into the wonderful world of cider. As popular as it is to drink, Canadian hard cider also adds a rich, subtly sweet depth to a wide range of dishes. We will start the evening with a unique Hard Cider Bread Muffin served alongside Leek and Cider Steamed Nova Scotia Mussels. Our main is Longos Ontario Pork Loin Schnitzel, served with Cider Braised Apples, Onions and Red Cabbage. Can you save room for dessert? Chef Jim is showcasing Skillet-Cooked Apples in Golden Caramel with Cider and Pecans. Spend an evening with an old friend and discover a new appreciation for Canadian Cider.
